Senior Director

Join the American Red Cross Blood Services, Penn-Jersey Region in our mission of providing quality blood and blood products to the patients in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ. The Region employs over 750 staff and collects more than 260,000 units of blood each year. When help is needed?we?ll be there. We seek an accomplished human resources professional to join our senior management team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Senior Director will direct the human resources function, develop effective policies, manage labor relations, implement effective compensation programs, and provide resources to senior management staff on related HR issues.

The successful candidate will have a BA/BS and 10 years of progressively responsible experience including direct or indirect management of all major HR areas including direct involvement in labor relations. A master?s prepared candidate is preferred. An in-depth knowledge of all relevant legislation, problem-solving skills for HR issues, and excellent communication skills are also necessary. Current HR professional certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.
